José Nasca is a photographer born in Caracas, Venezuela. His work focuses on stories that center around the human experience in nature, his childhood, and the uprooting that resulted from his migration to Bogotá, Colombia, where he currently resides.

At the age of 20, he presented a photo in "Latin America in Construction: Architecture 1955-1980", an exhibition produced by MoMA and Instagram. His work has also been exhibited at Los Galpones Art Centre Centro in Caracas, at the Chacao Cultural Centre, and on the digital platforms of Ojo Rojo Fábrica Visual.

In 2015 he was included in the list of suggested Instagram users, and won the second place in the Mobile Arts Festival of Venezuela and Latin America. In 2021 was part of the first cohort of Semillero Migrante, a virtual education program for the creation of long-term projects between Colombia and Venezuela.

In 2023 he exhibited "Mamá, estoy bien" (Mom, I’m Fine) at the Bogota Chamber of Commerce as part of Artbo Tutor, an initiative organized by the Experimental School of Art, and Artbo.

Currently, José's work is being shown at the Intercontinental Hotel in Cali as part of ItinerArte, a project led by Crónica Art in alliance with the Estelar Hotel chain.

At the same time he is dedicated to selling his photographs and creating content on Instagram where he has collaborated with brands such as HBO and Apple.
